BackPocket Apps ("we", "our", "us") operates the House Rules mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

The short version: We collect minimal data, store everything on your device, don't track you, and don't sell your information. Ever.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

House Rules stores game data, player names, scores, and settings locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

In-App Purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, billing details, or Apple ID.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not collect usage analytics, device identifiers, or behavioral data.

How We Use Your Information

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we don't use your information at all. Your game data, player profiles, and scores exist only on your device and are used solely to provide the app's functionality to you.

If you contact us via email or our contact form, we will use the information you provide (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your inquiry. We will not use your contact information for marketing, share it with third parties, or retain it beyond what is needed to address your message.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. We do not have access to your data in the first place.

Data Retention & Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all House Rules data at any time by deleting the app from your device. We do not retain any data on external servers.

Children's Privacy

House Rules does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app stores all data locally on the device and does not transmit any data externally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
